Kate Resch
 
Kate teaches yoga lessons in Prague, Czech Republic, for beginners, power yogis, kids, families, and everyone in between. She has been practicing vinyasa yoga for over seven years, and she has noticed the enormous benefits it brings for herself and her students as well. The connection of movement to breath, breath to body, and body to mind have had such profound effects for her, physically and mentally. She is passionate about sharing these wonderful effects of yoga with her students!
 
Kate is certified through Yoga Europa's 200-hour teacher training program to teach many types of Hatha and vinyasa flow, and has experience working with many injuries and special conditions. Kate is also certified in the Core Strength Vinyasa Yoga style, as well as Rainbow Kids and Families Yoga Teacher Training. She is currently studying with the Rainbow Kids Yoga Mentorship 300-hour teacher training program to further deepen her practice and connection to Kids and Family Yoga, as well as to develop a Learning English through Yoga curriculum for children.
 
Originally from Minneapolis, MN, USA, Kate spent 4 years living in Burlington, Vermont, studying research psychology, nutrition, and wellness at the University of Vermont. She moved to Prague in September, 2011, and fell madly in love with the Czech Republic and Europe! She spends most of her time teaching English, teaching and practicing yoga, chasing after her yellow lab Leo, singing karaoke, exploring the beautiful city of Praha, baking, searching for unicorns, and daydreaming.
