Yoga for Kids

 

 Everybody knows that yoga has enormous benefits for adults- increased flexibility, strength, and balance, mental relaxation, pain relief, increased digestion and circulation, and stress relief. But does yoga hold the same benefits for children? Absolutely! Yoga for kids is a fabulous, fun, and non-competitive way for kids to develop their body awareness, relaxation and mindfulness skills, increase focus and concentration, and get some physical activity at the same time. Imagine being able to go to the beach, outer space, on a safari, or a hot air balloon trip anytime you wanted. In Sunny Kids yoga classes, we will do all these things and more, through the magic of kids yoga! In Sunny Yoga classes for kids, we use songs, stories, games, and much more to allow children to learn lifelong skills in a low-stress environment. 

 

Learning English through Yoga

 

Since Prague is such a multi-cultural and international city, parents and teachers alike are always searching for new and innovative ways to teach the English language. Learning English through Yoga classes provide a stress-free, happy, and fun environment for kids to actively practice vocabulary, reading, and spelling skills, while also relaxing and having a joyful yoga experience! Each week we will focus on a specific set of vocabulary and language skills, including ABC Yoga, Parts of the Body, Zoo Animals, Ocean and Beach, and more, while also learning essential lifelong skills such as mindfulness, deep breathing, and compassion.
